Our Story

In 2009, Cheryl, a surgeon from California, US, and her husband, who were suffering from plantar fasciitis, found that they get foot pain after standing for even a short time. However, they couldn’t find any shoes or accessories on the market to relieve foot pain. Therefore, her husband cannot enjoy a normal life and needs to rest in bed all day long. Her husband became increasingly disappointed.


It is not only the foot disease that is afflicting him but also the loss of mobility due to plantar fasciitis. Gradually, his optimism and yearning for life are gradually disappearing. As a wife who loves her husband, she knows that she should take action to find happy feet and healthy life for her husband, confidence, and yearning for the future life.


In March of the same year, she came to Fujian and Zhejiang province in China for travel, where private enterprises were everywhere. She was deeply shocked by their high efficiency and scale of them. Therefore, she visited some local entrepreneurs to cooperate on "shoes that can relieve foot pain". But at that time, almost no one trusted cross-border cooperation, especially with such a "foreigner" who had no experience in shoe selling.

After two months of waiting, Cheryl finally received a reply from WINGGOOD.CO, one of the largest shoe industry groups in China at that time, was willing to cooperate with Cheryl. After half a year's market research, design, and optimization, the final design of WALKHERO arch support insoles, now monthly sales volume has reached 100 thousand, accounting for half of the corrective insoles market.

The primary focus of the WALKHERO brand is to offer the ultimate comfortable and functional shoes, orthotic insoles, and socks. WALKHERO footwear is designed by a professional team, and also employs biomedical engineers to build innovative footwear products, designed to alleviate the symptoms associated with various foot conditions, such as plantar fasciitis, arch pain, heel and foot pain, bunions, corns, calluses, and neuroma, and products for individuals with diabetes, arthritis, and Neuropathy. After several months of joint research with many well-known podiatry clinics, the WALKHERO comfortable shoes that affect the rules of the industry were born.

Global Market

In 2015, under the constant exploration of Jay C, the manager of WINGGOOD.CO and our founder, Cheryl, the sales of corrective shoes increased by 300% year on year. It was also this year that, in order to make consumers suffering from foot pain in the world enjoy the gospel of corrective shoes, they established R&D centers and warehouses in China, the US, and Canada. So far, the global storage area has exceeded 400000 square meters, and the products could be delivered within a week.

Love Without Boundaries

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 15.9 million children under 18 in the United States live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life. So we are hoping to change this. Since brand inception, we’ve worked with the Second Harvest Food Bank and their kid's cafe program to donate one day’s worth of meals to a child in need, for every pair of shoes that we sell.
