I have flat feet and tend to pronate (ankles cave in) with shoes that don’t have fairly substantial supports that are both wide and have some lift around my arch. A high arch that’s narrow usually doesn’t work. But for those cheaper shoes that I pick for style, I need inserts.I compared 4 brands of inserts. Surprisingly, the least expensive of the bunch hit the mark. The walk-hero is wider (see picture 1) and kept me from pronating due to the arch being far enough outside that my foot didn’t push past it. I don’t wear wide shoes or anything. It’s just my pronation that has always made wider shoes more comfortable. The walk-hero work best for me.
