This shoe offered the support I have in my first pair of Walk Hero walking shoes, but delivered a more stylish look. The only small concern is that these sneakers run a bit smaller in size than my walking shoes. I am a perfect size 12 in the walking shoes, but size 12 in the sneakers appears to offer less length. Overall, happy with the value of the purchase and the foot pain relief.
Thank goodness I have these shoes to fall back on for every day use! I took two pair with me on a week long vacation with a lot of walking, and had no problems with my feet ( other than the usual arthritis pain that nothing helps).
I have purshced 2 more pair of shoes from WalkHero. I can't praise this shoe enough for my needs.
If you have high arched feet with "falling Arches, achilles tendonitis, or other foot issues, I would recommend you give arch support a try
I purchased these even though I am a woman. I have size 11.5-12 feet, and have a hard time finding big enough shoes that work for me in women's shoes. I would have preferred something a little more feminine, but beggars can't be choosers. I have falling arches that need support and lots of arthritic issues in my feet and knees as well.
I use them to work in a medical environment and need to have comfort over cuteness.
I have had pain in my knees that went away when I started to use this particular shoe from WalkHero. Other shoes I have tried from WalkHero didn't help me there. I think it's the unbending heel to metatarsal arch that helps, but at the same time it has great arch support and cushions my feet well too.
I now have 3 pair.
They're not dainty but when you have a lot of pain in your feet and legs, who cares???
I have an extremely high arch and this is almost enough. I tried adding extra arch support but the backs of the shoe sat too low if I did that. Still 100% better than any regular shoe I've ever bought.
They are really comfortable for long walks. I spend an hour on the treadmill every day.
Update: I spent all day walking around an amusement park in these shoes. Typically my feet, ankles, knees and hips are all killing me by the end of the day. At the end of the day only my hips were really uncomfortable but not excruciating. My feet ankles and knees did not hurt.
