I am evaluating these walking shoes based on my specific foot problem – arthritis in both feet toe joints, especially the big toe joint on both feet. After seeing a podiatrist, he recommended a walking shoe that prevents the toe box from flexing. After trying several varieties at a local running store, I purchased a walking shoe for about $200 – first time I ever spent such for a pair of sneakers. So, I would like a second pair, hopefully less expensive, that I could use around the house. It is painful to walk around in slippers. I found these walking shoes for less than half of what I paid for the podiatrist recommended shoes. Will they do the job. My feet measure 11.5. The podiatrist recommended getting a size 12 where the shoes have a wide toe box. I received a size 12. Well, I have to say that these walking shoes are doing the job for me keeping my toe joints from flexing. I see that other reviewers have commented about arch support. I do not have a problem with arch support but certainly these shoes seem robust in their construction. Who knows, if I had found these shoes before I spent $200 on a name brand, I might have ended up with these instead.

My husband and I both love the look of these great Walk Hero arch support sneakers. The shoes are made really well, and the support is noticeable. He is 75 and still loves to walk a lot, but feels that many shoes are not the best for his feet. We saw these, discussed them, and are both very pleased. Plus, they are not only a great arch support sneaker, but a very attractive shoe.

The material is a combo of mesh, rubber, and a faux suede look….with an added shiny plastic trim around the back and sides right above the sole. And still lightweight..and the size was a perfect fit. We chose the black shoe with silver trim. Really nice, including the silver laces. Awesome!

He will be walking in these tomorrow, after taking them out for short test walk this evening, and is very happy with these shoes.

These walking shoes are very well designed and the materials are high grade so the effect is an extremely comfortable shoe. The sole design is a shallow tread and deep groves (the white lines) that make the outsole flexible. The midsole is is a shock absorbing EVA that bends easily and works to make theses shoes comfortable to wear working on concrete floors all day. The insole is the real star here, the high arch and deep heel cup keep the foot moving correctly in the shoe and the extra wide and deep toe box make free movement of the toes feel like walking on soft ground. As far as appearance, they look just like the photos, and the stitching is well done , the mesh looks of high quality and can be worn as athletic or leisure. The price seemed a little on the high side until I wore them through a few work days, now I have no doubt that they are a good value. With no negatives to report, these walking shoes are highly recommended.

They were more comfortable than I thought they were going to be. I had to open up the laces to get them on and I originally though they were going to be too small. I wear and ordered an 8.5 (10 Women's - 42 Euro) and they fit like a glove. Still, plenty of room in the toe box, but didn’t seem too big. There is plenty of support throughout the shoe. You can feel the arch support and the heel fits nicely into the heel cup. I did significant walking in them right out of the box, and they were comfortable throughout, from the footbed to the heel area. The sole tracks well and I tested it on several surfaces with good traction and no slippage.

The manufacturing quality is excellent. There is a variety of materials from suede to breathable mesh, and rubber/plastics. My only issue were the laces that felt cheap and came undone multiple times. I would take off for them, but the rest of the quality keep it as a 5.

I don't have Plantar Fasciitis, but I don't want it either, and a great arch support will work to prevent this from happening. The Mens Walking Shoes are comfortable, slightly snug for the size (on purpose or accidentally???) but my feet feel great. They look good too, not like most 'orthopedic shoes' ... not boxy or overly big.
