Just a little bit big, but when I wear socks, it solves that issue. I don’t know why these are called slippers. They resemble a mule, i.e., a closed toe, open back shoe. No matter what they’re called, they’re nice looking and seem to have decent arch support. I wear them out & about.

I was hoping the 9 1/2 would work for me as the 9 was sold out in black and they were better than expected. I love socks so with the 9 1/2 I can wear my thicker socks now! Very pleased.
